A Persistent Love

I am a kindergarten teacher by day and a mother, daughter, sister, friend, writer, singer, occasional jogger, and chocolate chip cookie lover by night.  I am very active in my local church—I have been a youth sponsor, Sunday School teacher, singer, leader of a music ministry, nursery worker and director of a summer program for children.  I have been a Christian for as long as I can remember but am still learning every day what serving Jesus is supposed to look like.  I am a single mom to two beautiful daughters—my 14 year old Chinese dynamo and my 16 year old who came home from Guatemala at 6 months and has filled my life with joy ever since.
